Social Loot is a program where you use your facebook or twitter
account to post messages (ads) to share with your friends on behalf of
companies that you choose to promote.
There is quite a big list of companies that you can choose from,
including some charities.
You earn money based on how many friends see the post and how many of
your friends click thru on the post to view what is being promoted.
Depending on the company you select to promote, each post is worth
around $0.50 to $1.50 and you get an additional amount for each click
thru.
If you have active list of social media friends, you can make quite a
bit of money from each post. The fee varies for each company but an
average return would see around $5-10 from 10 people clicking thru on
the post.
Of course posting commercial messages on your personal facebook or
twitter profile is not going to be everyone's idea of what you should
use social media for. But if you have set up a business, group, or
non-personal account and you want to make some extra money this isn't a
bad way to do it. |
